Abstract

This paper explores the role of arts-based pedagogies in addressing gender issues in social science education. Through creative expression, students engage with topics such as gender equality and identity. The study includes examples of performances and visual projects addressing gender themes. Findings indicate increased awareness and sensitivity. Students developed critical perspectives on societal norms. Teachers observed meaningful discussions and engagement. Challenges include cultural barriers. The paper suggests inclusive teaching practices. It concludes that arts-based pedagogy supports gender education.
