Abstract

This research explores the impact of arts-based pedagogies on student motivation in social science education. Traditional methods often fail to sustain student interest. By incorporating creative activities such as music and design, educators can make learning more engaging. The study shows that students participating in arts-based activities demonstrated higher motivation and enthusiasm. They were more likely to participate in discussions and collaborative tasks. The approach also fosters intrinsic motivation. Teachers observed improved classroom dynamics. Challenges include curriculum constraints and assessment methods. The paper suggests integrating arts into lesson planning. It concludes that arts-based pedagogy enhances motivation.
